We’re currently on the hunt for a new Cloud Security Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will share our commitment to working with high levels of integrity and purpose, and will possess unbridled curiosity, a passion for problem solving, and an understanding of business and risks. 

Requirements

  • Work closely with development and engineering teams to implement new technologies and support existing technologies both in-house and for consulting clients

  • Generate reports and documentation to a very high standard, as needed

  • Irrepressible curiosity, passion for problem-solving, strong code of ethics, and a clear understanding of how risks can impact operations

  • Developing and maintaining internal CI/CD pipeline

  • Providing SME support for Linux, network/cloud security

  • Consulting experience a plus

Requirements

  • Hands-on AWS experience in a mission-critical environment

  • Experience with GCP/Azure preferred

  • Strong Linux/Devops background is a must

  • 3-5 years of experience with Devops/DevSecOps

  • Ability to create custom scripts (python/bash,etc)

  • Experience with Terraform and Ansible

  • Experience with implementing and supporting Kubernetes

  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills as well as interpersonal skills to interact with customers, team members and upper management

  • Ability to learn new technologies and implement them with little oversight

  • An understanding of Cyber Security and Network Security Monitoring

  • Fundamental understanding of computer networking (TCP/IP), knowledge of Windows, Linux and Cisco operating systems and information security

  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction

  • Strong combination of administrative and technical acumen

  • Stellar written and verbal skills

  • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively and tactfully with both business-oriented executives and technology-oriented professionals, including developers.

  • Strong knowledge of information security best practices

  • Ability to think outside-the-box while following procedure/protocol

  • Ability to work with agile development groups and their delivery deadlines
